Elijah Wood, the titular role of Frodo, which is added to the movie as one character accompanying many others, such as Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, Cate Blanchett and others, recently reveals some pieces of detail of the upcoming two movies that are soon be released, The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again. One of the details that are very often questioned by many fans is the addition of the character of Frodo in the time where he supposedly has not yet been around. Moreover, Frodo does not exist in The Hobbit of JRR Tolkien, while it does exist in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit.

Explaining the odds, Elijah stated that it is a great transitional piece from The Hobbit to the Lord of the Rings. He also said that the addition in the movie will work well to bring the audience to know more about a place before the Middle-Earth in Lord of the Rings exists. The actor also said that he is excited of the new movie, which he called as a beautiful transition. The fans will be able to understand what Wood’s saying after they watch the movies which are going to be released in 14 December 2012 and 13 December 2013.
