Lily Collins Auditioned for Both Snow White Roles

As an adaptation of a fairy tale into movie becomes even more popular in 2011, movie lovers are quite shocked to know the truth that there are two movies daring each other by adapting the same fairy tale, Snow White. In the end of 2011, reportedly there are two movie productions for Snow White adaptation. The first one titled Mirror Mirror, starred by Lily Collins and Julia Roberts. The other Snow White movie seems to be challenging with the same attraction, titled Snow White and the Huntsman, starred by Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron. For both movies, fans should not be confused, since they present a whole lot different concept of the fairy tale.

And for Lily Collins, the star of Mirror Mirror, it seems that there is no confusion since she knows better both movies at once, even though she only plays for one of them. In an interview with Access Hollywood, the daughter of veteran musician, Phil Collins, admitted that she had one auditioned for the role of ‘another’ Snow White in Snow White and the Huntsman. Unfortunately, Lily has never gotten the role, which is given to Kristen Stewart.

Lily Collins stated that she once read the script of another Snow White movie, so that she knows that Kristen Stewart is the best actress for this role. She also mentioned that both Snow White adaptation movies are so much different from one to another so that they aim for a different type of audience. But apparently, both movies still have something in common, who is done by Lily Collins as well as Kristen Stewart. Both actresses are required to master some martial and fighting skill on set. And for Lily Collins, she said that it involves an intense three month fighting, fencing, and kickboxing training, which she said as an insane training.
