Tyler Perry Defenses His Decision of Casting Kim Kardashian

After her decision to end her marriage after 72 years, it cannot be avoided that Kim Kardashian has become one of the most hated celebrities. And the heat and controversy do not stop that way, since Tyler Perry, a filmmaker; put more woods to the fire by hiring Kim to take a role in his upcoming movie titled The Marriage Counselor. Besides the irony that comes from the title, of course the involvement of Kim Kardashian in the movie sparks more and more controversies , added by her lack of acting skill and experience in the movie world and business.

 

Since the involvement of Kim Kardashian in his movie has been announced last month, Tyler Perry cannot deny that hate mails and protests flood his mailbox. The filmmaker has also made an answer of the protest by stating that he has heard all of them, and explained further about his decision of taking the reality show star in his movie. As he asked fans to hear the reason, Perry said that his decision to hire Kim Kardashian is right because her potential to be looked up and be taken as an example by her younger fans.

 

While the movie aims in issues related to faith and marital problem, Kim is considered the best cast by the filmmaker. Perry hopes that any young audience of the movie will take some lessons from the movie, especially if Kim Kardashian involved in it. When he is accused of taking the benefit of Kim’s marital wreckage, Perry stated that the decision of hiring Kim were made even before he heard about the star’s marriage and divorce. Perry is also disagreeing to some opinions that stated the unsuitability of the involvement of Kim Kardashian in such a spiritual movies involving faith and forgiveness from God. No matter how great the protest and controversy are, the movie will still go on with the production and is planned to be released next year.
